  • Science IS-U Scholars Program

The Science IS-U Scholars program is a community of STEM majors interested in marshaling their disciplinary expertise to pursue solutions to societal problems. Scholars participate in Science IS-U's early arrival program, the co-sciences living/learning community, and an all-expenses-paid research internship.

  • High School Research Symposium

Join us to celebrate your accomplishments in research! ISU invites high school students to showcase poster presentations at our annual STEM research symposium for an audience of professors and other high school students.

  • STEM Ambassadors Program

The STEM Ambassadors were hired as first-year STEM majors. They conduct mentored research and support their peers in finding early success as STEM students. They have launched the ISU Answers student-to-student help platform, presented research on student–faculty connections to faculty at the University Teaching and Learning Symposium, and supported the School of Biological Sciences by capturing student perspectives on potential course revisions.
