Broader Impacts Support
CeMaST supports ISU community members as they seek funding opportunities to use their STEM expertise to solve societal problems. Accomplishing this goal usually comes in the form of aiding in the creation of grant proposals and facilitating networking opportunities that enable strong “broader impacts” of grant-funded projects.

STEM Hub
The CeMaST STEM Hub is central to our STEM programming, which revolves around empowering, conducting, and supporting STEM education and scholarship in the community and on campus. We offer a variety of programming, which includes the following: professional development, STEM programming, STEM student community building, and maker-based programming and collaboration. The STEM Hub is home to various equipment, hand tools, and materials and also serves as a workshop or activity space.
