The Second Annual Summer of Inquiry symposium will take place on Thursday, July 30, 2026. Check back for more information regarding time, location, and registration in June.

 

What is the Summer of Inquiry Symposium?

The Summer of Inquiry Symposium (SoIS) is a summer symposium for students to present their scholarly research and inquiry to an audience of their peers and faculty members. This event is cohosted by the Office of Student Research (OSR) and the Center for Mathematics, Science, and Technology (CeMaST) at Illinois State University. The SoIS is open to any ISU undergraduate student engaging in scholarly research or inquiry during the summer of 2026. Students will showcase their discoveries, findings, and progress in a poster presentation.

 

Registration

 

Registration for the symposium will open on July 1st.
