What is the SCI-LSAMP?

SCI-LSAMP stands for the Southern & Central Illinois Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (SCI-LSAMP, NSF Award #2409182). NSF's LSAMP program seeks to increase retention, graduation, and success of students who identify with groups that are historically underrepresented in STEM fields. SCI-LSAMP program offers holistic support and customized mentoring to guide students through the completion of their bachelor's degree and into graduate degree programs or careers in STEM. LSAMP is nationally recognized, and being an LSAMP fellow makes you eligible for many benefits, such as the opportunity to present at LSAMP conferences, participation in bridge-to-doctorate programs, and more.
