Illinois State University is planning a university-wide event that will give students the opportunity to safely view the solar eclipse with proper solar eclipse glasses. Join us on April 8th at 1:00 p.m. on the Quad as we watch this astronomical event!

Join the Astronomy, Physics, and Chemistry clubs at the ISU Planetarium on April 4th, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., for a presentation on the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse. Explore the science behind solar eclipses and their effects.

Children's Discovery Museum

Join Dr. Jay Ansher at the Children's Discovery Museum, Thursday, April 4th, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., for a talk on solar eclipses. Learn how they work and how to safely view them.

ISU Planetarium Shows

Join the ISU Planetarium for free planetarium shows in the Felmley Hall Annex on Friday, April 5th, at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, April 6th, at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Discover the mysteries of these solar eclipses, understand what they are, how they work, and the safest ways to view them. It's a fun and educational experience for any and all ages.
