The 2024 Illinois Summer Research Academy (ISRA) will be held July 22-26, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, on Illinois State University's (ISU) campus. Eligible students are freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. ISRA is a commuter program, and no housing is provided. Students participating in the 2024 ISRA will spend a week with ISU professors, ISU students, and high school students from central Illinois, working on research projects in biology, chemistry, information technology, and physics. Students will be introduced to current research that ISU professors are working on and exposed to the tools and techniques that are being used to accomplish this research. Students then contribute to these research projects and/or work on their own research projects with their peers.
