How to Apply

In order to apply for the 2019 ISRA you must:

  • Be enrolled as a Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior in high school during the 2018-2019 school year.
  • Print the 2019 ISRA Reference Form. Ask one of your high school teachers to complete the form and return it to you in a sealed envelope with their signature across the seal and your name and 2019 ISRA printed on the front of the envelope.
  • Print and complete the 2019 ISRA Application Form. Please make sure that your handwriting is legible.
  • Mail your completed 2019 ISRA Application Form and 2019 ISRA Reference Form in the same envelope to the address listed on the 2019 ISRA Application Form such that it is received by April 2, 2019. (This is not a postmarked date! April 2, 2019, is the date the application must be received to meet the initial deadline.)

You will receive an email confirmation once we receive your completed 2019 ISRA Application Form and 2019 ISRA Reference Form, so please be sure to double check that your email address is easy to read on your 2019 ISRA Application Form.

Admission

Review of applications and placement into ISRA research opportunities will begin April 2, 2019. These applicants selected for admittance to the 2019 ISRA will be notified by email by April 15, 2019.

Applications received after the initial April 2, 2019, the deadline will be reviewed for admittance on a case-by-case basis, as space is available. Late applicants (i.e., those received after the initial April 2, 2019, deadline) selected for admittance to the 2019 ISRA will be notified by email approximately 1 week after their application is received.

No applications will be accepted after May 15, 2019!

All applicants selected for admittance to the 2019 ISRA will receive a packet of forms (e.g., parental consent form, waiver of liability form, medical form, acceptable behavior form, etc.) with their official printed letter of admittance sent to the home address provided on their application form. These forms must be completed and returned to the address listed on the forms along with the required payment by June 1, 2019; otherwise, your space in the 2019 ISRA will be forfeited.
